Suzie is a beautiful black and silver German shepherd puppy. Very typical to the breed and age she is high energy, loyal, smart and stubborn. She also loves playing with her foster brother and sister and would be happiest in a home where she has other dogs to play with. She does great around other dogs & kids but we are unsure about cats.
Very treat and food motivated this girl loves to work and loves to learn!
She would make a great candidate for those interested in scent training as she can sniff out a treat or piece of kibble from anywhere in the house or yard. Suzie is crate-trained and potty trained. She knows sit and is working on other commands. A natural born leash walker but needs guidance on walks as she is still learning.
She loves to be near her human and prefers to join you for errands and social activities. Suzie does great in the car and settles nicely at restaurants so she would make a great brunch & adventure buddy.
NOTE: In our experience many German Shepherd Dogs are very good with kids. In our bios, we may provide information on our experience with a particular dog and children. However AGSDR discourages ALL unsupervised animal/child interaction. Children should be supervised at all times when they interact with ANY animal, whether it is a horse, dog, cat, bunny, lizard, or any other species. Even loving household pets can have a grumpy day, or otherwise get tired of a child's attention, so proper supervision is essential for the well being of any child and any pet.
The entire biography of this dog is based solely upon our volunteers' experiences with the dog.
