Hello, let me introduce myself. I am a very handsome and regal red/black King German Shepherd. My name fits me perfectly because it means gracious and a gift. My foster mom tells everyone that I am the guy your mom always warned you about: I am good looking, debonair, and a total sweetheart. I am very suave at following my foster moms sit and down commands--easy peasy stuff. A ladies man who has it all. I do like to smell nice so it should not surprise you that I sit like a gentleman during my baths.
One of my favorite things ever is to go on a walk, Don't mean to brag too much, however I am careful not to tug on the leash even at 77lbs. I get along well with other dogs, and I have not had any accidents in the house.
Did I tell you I love to snuggle and lay my head in your lap and be petted. I love it when my foster mom's 10 year granddaughter comes over and spends time with me. Want to be my bestie?? All you need to do is play ball with me which is my favorite sport. I do need some additional guidance and direction to remind me not to jump up on things/people at times, but I am working on this.
That's pretty much a wrap for now, I am currently accepting applications to select my perfect forever family in which to share a life full of love and happiness with. Looking forward to our interview.
NOTE: In our experience many German Shepherd Dogs are very good with kids. In our bios, we may provide information on our experience with a particular dog and children. However AGSDR discourages ALL unsupervised animal/child interaction. Children should be supervised at all times when they interact with ANY animal, whether it is a horse, dog, cat, bunny, lizard, or any other species. Even loving household pets can have a grumpy day, or otherwise get tired of a child's attention, so proper supervision is essential for the well being of any child and any pet.
The entire biography of this dog is based solely upon our volunteers' experiences with the dog. The dog's age and weight are estimates, and statements about the health, temperament, training, and ability to get along with other animals, children, cats and other dogs, are estimated solely based on our volunteer's experiences with this dog. Your experiences with this dog may be quite different than those of our volunteers.
