Brody is a big gorgeous German Shepherd who loves being with family. A very sweet boy who’s had a rough beginning, Brody was rescued at 11mo from an environment of neglect and non-socialization. Then for the next two years he was able to be on a farm with plenty of room to roam. However, due to the sudden and unexpected loss of the owners' spouse, Brody and the remaining owner moved to the city to be closer to grandchildren. Although, Brody is great with the other German Shepherd mix in the house and grandchildren he is a bit protective of his yard when neighboring dogs are near. Brody is not cat friendly.
Brody is neutered, micro chipped, and current on all vaccinations. A loving boy who just wants to be with you, on the road or at home, he is a great sidekick. Truly one of the most handsome German Shepherds you will ever see. The ideal home for Brody is in a home without cats, or neighboring dogs, preferably acreage. Brody is very smart and respects those who demonstrate calm, confident energy. He also needs structure and boundaries to provide him with a sense of accomplishment. Brody will respond best to someone who has the time and is able to consistently provide him with training and physical activity. He is always looking for your guidance and approval. He knows his basic commands, is house trained, neutered, micro chipped, and up to date on vaccinations. We feel the best placement for Brody is in a home without cats, or neighboring dogs. Brody is very smart and respects those who demonstrate calm, confident energy.

NOTE: In our experience many German Shepherd Dogs are very good with kids. In our bios, we may provide information on our experience with a particular dog and children. However AGSDR discourages ALL unsupervised animal/child interaction. Children should be supervised at all times when they interact with ANY animal, whether it is a horse, dog, cat, bunny, lizard, or any other species. Even loving household pets can have a grumpy day, or otherwise get tired of a child's attention, so proper supervision is essential for the well being of any child and any pet.
