June is one of the sweetest, smartest puppies you will meet. She was found as a lonely stray. She is about 4 months old and weighs about 20 pounds. She has the softest coat ever.
She learns very quickly. We know how to sit and what the word no means! She understands what a kennel is and is crate trained! No accidents in the kennel overnight and we are grasping the concept of using the bathroom outside. We are working on walking on a leash.
June is very active and wants to play a lot. She is very submissive and does well with other dogs and enjoys playing with them. She will be attached to your hip, you never have to worry about being lonely again! All June wants is your attention and love. She has shown no signs of aggression towards people, cats (although she quite doesn't understand why they won't play with her), or other dogs. She is currently going through her puppy shots which are almost done. We want her to grow to be big and strong so she will need to be spayed around 6 months of age! The vet estimates she will be about 50-60 pounds.
NOTE: In our experience many German Shepherd Dogs are very good with kids. In our bios, we may provide information on our experience with a particular dog and children. However AGSDR discourages ALL unsupervised animal/child interaction. Children should be supervised at all times when they interact with ANY animal, whether it is a horse, dog, cat, bunny, lizard, or any other species. Even loving household pets can have a grumpy day, or otherwise get tired of a child's attention, so proper supervision is essential for the well being of any child and any pet.
The entire biography of this dog is based solely upon our volunteers' experiences with the dog. The dog's age and weight are estimates, and statements about the health, temperament, training, and ability to get along with other animals, children, cats and other dogs, are estimated solely based on our volunteer's experiences with this dog. Your experiences with this dog may be quite different than those of our volunteers.
