Leia is a beautiful, 2 year old, German Shepherd! Despite her hardship of being dumped on the side of the road, she will greet you with a big smile and tail wags. Leia loves to get belly rubs, nestle her head into her foster Mom and loves nothing more than spending time with her foster family. Leia loves for her foster sister to read her books and snuggle with her. She also loves to take walks, run around the yard and explore new places. Leia has recently met a few cow friends in the backyard of her foster family’s house. Leia is house broken, crate trained and knows sit, down and shake. She is a very quick learner and will do anything for a treat which she takes ever so gently from you. Leia also gives very sweet kisses!

NOTE: In our experience many German Shepherd Dogs are very good with kids. In our bios, we may provide information on our experience with a particular dog and children. However AGSDR discourages ALL unsupervised animal/child interaction. Children should be supervised at all times when they interact with ANY animal, whether it is a horse, dog, cat, bunny, lizard, or any other species. Even loving household pets can have a grumpy day, or otherwise get tired of a child's attention, so proper supervision is essential for the well being of any child and any pet.
