Meet our sweet girl Mandy who is just as beautiful on the inside as she is the outside. Mandy loves to play ball and have you toss it to her so she can catch it in her mouth. She gets so excited when you praise her, she will run around and come back for more. Mandy is very human focused and enjoys time with family and car rides. She is current on all her vaccinations, micro chipped, house and crate trained. She is currently living with an 18 month female sister and two 8 year old brothers. Mandy loves to lavish her canine brothers and sister with lots of kisses and entice them to chasing her all over the yard.
She absolutely loves jumping into the tub to get a bath and being clean after a hard day of play. She will even lift her legs so you can rinse her belly and then turn around to make sure you adequately rinse both sides of her. Mandy must have a big cushy dog pillow to sleep on as this is one of her favorite spots. She acts a little barky when she first meets another dog but after a slow introduction and little while of spending time with her new friend she is all about wanting to play. She knows commands such as sit, stay, off and we are working on leash training because she gets so excited she wants to pull on the leash. We expect Mandy to max out on her weight around 65 lbs when she is fully grown. She would be happiest with another canine to play with and in a family environment who includes her in all activities. What a loving girl who enjoys giving you all the love she has and receiving lots of love in return. Additional obedience training will be something she will thrive at and enjoy.
NOTE: In our experience many German Shepherd Dogs are very good with kids. In our bios, we may provide information on our experience with a particular dog and children. However AGSDR discourages ALL unsupervised animal/child interaction. Children should be supervised at all times when they interact with ANY animal, whether it is a horse, dog, cat, bunny, lizard, or any other species. Even loving household pets can have a grumpy day, or otherwise get tired of a child's attention, so proper supervision is essential for the well being of any child and any pet.
