Zeus

Hi, my name is Zeus and I am about one year old. Can we talk? I am full of energy and love to go for runs and walks. You know what they say; a tired dog is a happy dog. An active on the go family with an active canine companion around my age and weight would be my main stay for the best home ever. I am a big boy with lots of puppy energy, and on fast forward until it is time to take a break, which means I may not be compatible with a small dog, senior dog, or small children. After a couple of walks/runs a day and time playing with my canine companion, I am happy to settle on the couch with you for some down time, hanging out on my pillow, helping with the barbeque on the patio. I enjoy putting my head in your lap and having you rub my belly and scratch my head.
I am very human focused and do not like being away from my humans, my foster mom and dad have been working on helping me with my separation anxiety in this area. I have on occasion gotten out of my crate and am nicknamed Houdini (whoever that is). Because I am over the top intelligent, I can be known to test your boundaries if you have not trained me on mine. I am house/crate trained and sleep through the night dreaming of another exciting day to come. I walk on the leash like a pure gentleman, love seeing other dogs out walking and occasionally some wildlife. I enjoy playing with my resident canine sibling, her name is Luna, and she gives me a run for the money with her energy and is a blast as we take time chasing each other. I am not sure how I feel about felines; my preference is canine brothers and sisters. I’m a very loyal boy and would be attached to your hip if I could. I take treats nicely from you and really enjoy having goodies stuffed in my toys and interactive puzzles. I do love food especially bell peppers but I’ll eat anything honestly! I’m up to date on all vaccinations, microchipped, neutered and heartworm negative. Hope to hear from my future furever family home soon!
