For the past 2+ years she has lived in my house w/ 4 other dogs and 3 cats, and has been a treat to have in my life. I do not have a fenced yard (I feed deer behind the house), but there are fences on both sides of us and a barbed wire fence at the back. I can open my door and let molly out and leave the door open and she will not leave the back yard, she will play and then find a shady place and lay down. She has never gone thru the barbed wire fence to chase cows or donkeys, she does not fuss when the deer came in at night to feed, but she will chase squirrels. She lives inside, prefers to be off of the furniture, I’m not a big leash guy so molly is not frequently on one, but when she is she doesn’t fight it. She has never been aggressive toward a person, and I have never seen her being aggressive toward either a dog or a cat. I truly hate to part w/ Molly and I am positive that she will make someone a GREAT dog.

NOTE: In our experience many German Shepherd Dogs are very good with kids. In our bios, we may provide information on our experience with a particular dog and children. However AGSDR discourages ALL unsupervised animal/child interaction. Children should be supervised at all times when they interact with ANY animal, whether it is a horse, dog, cat, bunny, lizard, or any other species. Even loving household pets can have a grumpy day, or otherwise get tired of a child's attention, so proper supervision is essential for the well being of any child and any pet.
The entire biography of this dog is based solely upon our volunteers' experiences with the dog.
