I am a very active 18-month old German Shepherd-mix. There’s been talk that I might have some Husky traits as well.
I know I will charm you with my good looks and warm demeanor. I’m kind of a big deal. Just look at my picture!
I’m a big lover and I bond quickly with people who return affection. I long for a master that I can express my strong loyalty to. I’m a very alert dog and like most German Shepherds, I have an instinct to protect. It’s just who I am.
I’m currently working with an awesome trainer and get to show off my skills and smarts on a daily basis. People say I’m a bit of an alpha dog and sometimes have a bit of a strong personality, especially with other dogs. I’ll do best if I’m your only dog. I’m just not a fan of sharing you with other dogs. But, hey, don’t worry I’m such a big lover and so full of fun that you won’t ever want another dog. Promise!
However, I do love rules and structure. Rules help me understand how I can please you and that is all I really want to do! I want a home where boundaries are set and structure is of the highest priority. Because of my need for consistency, I strongly prefer to live in an adult only home. I’ve been complimented on my ability to train in group classes and I’m fabulous on a leash. I’m not a fan of playing with other dogs, but I can go to school with them and not get distracted and still be the best in class!
I’d like a master that can take me on a run or long walks, you know, someone pretty active and athletic. I’m so ready for a new adventure and a loving forever home! I’ve been neutered and I’m up to date on all shots – flea and heartworm free.
