Austin German Shepherd Dog Rescue is a 501-1(c) non-profit organization run strictly by volunteers--we have no paid staff. All donations and proceeds from sales go directly for the care and re-homing of the dogs we rescue.Dogs in our program receive immediate benefit from the generous contributions of our donors. We want the community and our donors to understand how these funds are used and to feel comfortable knowing that their donations are going directly to a needy Shepherd.

On Saturday, October 16, 2010, Macy's will host the 5th annual Shop for a Cause to benefit charities nationwide. Since 2006, Macy’s Shop For A Cause Event has partnered with non-profit organizations nationwide to raise more than $34 million for their ongoing charitable efforts. Shop For A Cause gives you the opportunity to help Austin German Shepherd Rescue by purchasing a $5 Shopping Pass for exclusive savings and special offers in every Macy’s store (not just the ones in Austin, Houston and San Antonio) on Saturday, October 16th. As a participating charity we keep 100% of the proceeds from the sale of each pass. Your purchase of a $5 ticket from AGSDR will go directly to helping the beautiful shepherds in our care.
